British neo-trad folkie Kate Rusby is a charmer, all right, and she’ll have you in her grasp from the first seconds of this exceptional concert DVD till the last. Perhaps it’s her natural, relaxed demeanor or her utter command of the stage, her sense of humor or simply her honest, no-frills way with a song—whatever it is, you’ll fall in love, guaranteed. Joined by such wonderful players as John McCusker, Andy Cutting and Ian Carr, Rusby’s 90-minute concert is a keeper. And if that’s not enough, more than one hour’s worth of extra material is tacked on for good measure.
